CONFORMITY

Catch Pro fishing sunglasses conform to European and British safety standards EN1836, and US Z80.3, which means they offer 100% UVA / UVB protection. In order to conform to Z80.3, a sample of each batch of sunglasses is subjected to a drop (impact) test at the factory to check their strength. Catch Pro sunglasses are designed to withstand tough, every day usage on the river bank, shore or boat.

TR90 FRAMES - TOUGH TECHNOLOGY

Both the Catch Pro Silver and Catch Pro Black fishing sunglasses frames are now manufactured from TR90, a virtually indestructible material that is far superior in strength to polycarbonate (the material most plastic sunglasses are made from). The frames have a slight in-built flex, making them shape themselves nicely to your head, providing a snug yet highly comfortable fit. Rubber nose pieces and side-arm extensions also enhance the comfort levels. High quality sprung side-arms make for a strong, high quality join to the front section.

Our prescription fishing sunglasses also enjoy the benefits of TR90 through manufacture of the Rx insert from this material. The main frame section is made from a high-quality polycarbonate. Like the standard Catch Pro, the Pro Prescription sunglasses frame has rubber nose pieces and side-arm inserts to ensure maximum levels of comfort.

LENSES

Manufactured from polycarbonate, all of our high-quality lenses have an anti-scratch coating, and are 'decentred', which means they are calibrated to nullify the possible distorting effects of placing a curved lens in front of your eyes. The Category 2 and Category 3 lenses have a polarised filter that removed glare by flitering out horizontal light.

 

LIGHT BLOCKAGE

All of our sunglasses feature a sports-wrap around styling, which has the effect of blocking unwanted light and wind from the sides of your vision. The positioning of our lenses also ensures there is minimal light encroachment from the bottom of your vision.

 

THE CARRY CASE

A very high-quality 'hard' carry case is supplied as standard with all of our sunglasses. The case has padded internal compartments for housing the extra lenses, and belt fixing loops / hooks for ease of storage and carrying.

 

THE CLOTH

A lint-free cleaning cloth is provided with each pair of Rapid Eyewear sunglasses as standard.

 

THE STRAP (LANYARD)

Although Catch Pro Fishing Sunglasses are designed to make a snug fit for most people, we are aware of the possibility that, should the sunglasses fall into the water for any reason, they could be easily and permanently lost. Especially useful for the boat angler and fly fishermen, our neck / head strap allows secure fitting through an adjustable chord. The strap may also be used to hang the glasses around the neck when not required.
